Hannah Harvey (Spooner) BA (Hons) Ballet Education LRAD ARAD RTS

Miss Hannah started dancing herself at the age of three at local dance schools to complete her graded and vocational RAD examinations. Her last examination that she gained was a Level 4 Diploma in Vocational Graded Examination in Dance: Advanced 2 (ballet).


Alongside her exams Miss Hannah was performing in annual shows at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking and the Magna Carter Theatre performing extracts from several ballets including; Les Sylphides, La fille mal gardée, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Don Quixote and Cinderella. Gaining first-hand experience of performance and an insight into production and theatre work. Miss Hannah also had the opportunity to perform in the opera Verdi Aida (Chisinau National Opera 1871) in 2007 at the Woking New Victoria Theatre.  

 

Continuing her training, Miss Hannah was offered a place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance to study for a degree in Ballet Education. While training at the RAD for three years Miss Hannah was also keen to complete the LRAD course and was awarded ARAD status from completing her Advanced 2 examination. Upon graduating, she has been working as a freelance ballet teacher fulfilling her lifelong ambition of teaching dance as a full time career and has now launched her own school. Miss Hannah is a highly motivated teacher with a passion for making ballet accessible to everyone and is very excited to develop her school. 

 

With the RAD Registered Teacher Status you can be assured that the children will be given the opportunity to develop safely with apropriate learning activities at every stage.
